The Kidz Are Doing Just Fine: Event Recap

If you missed out on August 26th, you missed one of the hottest events of the summer. We closed out the season with a bang, and it was hands down one of our most hyped gatherings this year. Long Island's underground music scene came alive with a lineup of exceptional artists who brought starpower to the stage.

The night kicked off with a bang, thanks to stellar performances by Denyo and Veezo Hart. They set the crowd on fire and had everyone buzzing with anticipation for what the rest of the night had in store. Hats off to them, especially considering it was their first time performing with KIDZ ON ACID. Denyo launched into his set with "Solid," and it was an instant hit, hooking the crowd from the get-go. Veezo Hart followed up with his lightning-fast delivery and unmatched crowd engagement, leaving the audience thoroughly impressed by his quick-witted lyrics and high-energy vibe.

After their dynamic performances, K-Dawg took the stage, slowing things down a bit and evoking nostalgia by delving into his childhood experiences through his signature boom bap style. He shared the trials and tribulations that shaped his journey to where he is today. Performing tracks from his latest EP, "Rare Breed," he struck a chord with the crowd, who even joined in by stomping and clapping along during his acapella rendition of "Broke With Ambition."

Then came Khi10k, hitting the stage with a force that had the crowd moshing as if they were at a Playboy Carti concert. The way he interacted with the audience was truly impressive and added an extra layer of excitement to the night.

To close out the show, Tenski, the headlining act, took center stage and left an indelible mark on the audience. He stepped out with a smile, sharing jokes with the crowd, and even pulled them onto the dance floor for an unforgettable experience. Tenski belted out some of his most iconic tracks, including "My Bumper," "When The Coke Was Good," and even brought Secko Finesse onstage to perform "Method Man."

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us, and for those who missed the show, stay tuned because our upcoming events in late 2023 and early 2024 promise to be even wilder. We appreciate all the artists who graced our stage and everyone who made it an unforgettable night. To catch a glimpse of the action, be sure to check out the video below!
